Five-O Force

Where we last left the Five-O team, Steve McGarrett, (Alex O'Loughlin, "The Back-Up Plan") was just arressted for the govenor of Hawaii's murder. His partner Danny "Danno" Williams, (Scott Caan, "Oceans 11,12,13") may have got his ex wife pregnant and the rest of the team was broken up.

Now apart, the team must find a way to prove McGarrett was framed by his longtime rival Wo Fat,( Mark Dacascos, "The Next Iron Chef ") , linked to many previous crimes, a man who McGarrett and the Five-O team have been after for some time. A now distant member of Five-O, who joined the Hawaii police force after the split of the team, Chin Ho Kelly( Daniel Dae kim, "Avatar: The last Airbender") is at the governor's funeral when he spots Wo Fat, but without enough evidence he has to let him go.
While McGarrett sits in the Halawa Correction facility with procecuters trying to do their best to push up his trial, Steve doesn't have much time to clear his name. While in prison, he runs into the last man he ever expects to see. (You'll have to watch to see who, i don't wanna ruin it). He attacks Steve and stabs him in the abdomin, the man was sent from Wo Fat to get rid of Steve forever. But McGarrett doesn't go down without a fight, he uses the ride to the hospital as his diversion to escape.
McGarrett's long time friend and trainer is back to bring justice for Steve, and finds a man who was once very close to Steve's dad, a former Hawaii cop. The man says Jack (McGarrett's dad) also had evidence that could prove the govenor was dirty. Once the Five-O team finds the proof they've been waiting for, the new govenor has no choice but to drop the charges against McGarrett and put the team back together, but there's one catch, a new member maybe?
So what should we expect next? With a new member. Possible leaks in the force. And one key member is still not allowed back on the team (Kono kalakaua), Chin Ho Kelly's cousin. I can tell its going to be the best season yet.
Don't forget to tune in every Monday, 10pm on CBS.

  1. This review has an excellent recap, and provides the reader with the information needed to follow the Premier. The links are abundant in information about the show's actors, and what their Bios are. There seemed to be a lot going on in the episode, and the article captures this, but in a monotonous pattern. More formatting and text adjustment would make this easier to read. There is little input from the author, with little analysis and only a few lines that weren't directly related to the text. The grammar was fine, a few mistakes here and there with capitalization, but overall a nice recap.

  2. I really liked the set up of the review and how easy it was to read. However i feel like there could have been more background for people who haven't ever seen a show. The amount of recap was good however the amount of commentary was very limited. I liked the pictures used however i think there could have been some different types of pictures used instead of just the cast. Finally i liked the way the review was too the point.

  3. Your background information about this episode seemed a little jumbled to me. Some parts flowed very well but you seemed to be repeating yourself. The links and pictures you used fit the article very well and your links did help explain the characters backgrounds. The review itself could have been a bit more clear to the readers and especially to somebody like me who has never seen the show before. I didn't come across any of your own opinion on the show or any humor. I did enjoy reading it and you definitely did explain the show in a detailed way. My constructive criticism for you is to have more fun with your writing and use more humor so it is more interesting and fun to read.

  5. The set up of the article is nice and consistent. Although there wasn't too much background on the show, the recap was clear. There wasn't very much opinion or analysis though. Mechanics and grammar was fine. Excellent use of links and pictures.

  6. Given that I have never seen this show, Malainie did a great job on filling us in on what is happening. She was very descriptive and I feel that I could start watching this show without seeing any previous episodes. Good job Malainie! mom
